Situated in the heart of Vienna-Hietzing, one of the capital’s most esteemed districts, Gloriettegasse 10 is a historic villa that stands as a living monument to architectural grandeur and cultural legacy. With a past as distinguished as its façade, this exceptional estate has been reimagined by Peter Reindl | PR Architects & Designers and the Team Gloriettegasse 10, blending the elegance of turn-of-the-century aesthetics with the refined clarity of contemporary design.

The origins of this unique property trace back to the 19th century, when the site was home to Charlotte Wolter (1834–1897), the celebrated Burgtheater actress and cultural icon of imperial Vienna. In 1903, the present villa was constructed in the historicist style based on designs by Ernst von Gotthilf, an architect renowned for his magnificent, aristocratic buildings. The structure radiates the refined sophistication of the Belle Époque and harmonizes effortlessly with the lush, villa-lined streets of Hietzing.

In recent decades, Gloriettegasse 10 captured international attention as the Vienna residence of Ukrainian entrepreneur Dmytro Firtash, reinforcing its status as one of Austria’s most prestigious private addresses.

Now brought into a new era under the vision of Peter Reindl and his design team, the villa has undergone a meticulous transformation. The design ethos honors the building’s noble history while introducing a new chapter of architectural precision, understated luxury, and modern livability. Every intervention has been guided by respect for the original structure, with sensitive integrations of state-of-the-art amenities and spatial reinterpretations that enhance natural light, flow, and comfort.

Gloriettegasse 10 was listed on the market in 2021 for €25 million, a valuation that reflects not only its physical stature and prime location but also its cultural significance and legacy value.

Set on a street named after the iconic Gloriette in nearby Schönbrunn Palace Park, the address exudes exclusivity. The neighborhood is a sanctuary of heritage and grace, offering discerning residents an idyllic blend of historical charm and sophisticated modernity.

This is not just a home—it is a curated experience of Vienna’s past and present, brought to life through the artistry and vision of one of Austria’s most respected architectural studios.
